The term “AI Chips” has a different meaning at Frito-Lay than at most other organizations. At Frito-Lay, the term refers to the use of AI in the production of potato chips, and more specifically how AI integration into the manufacturing process has saved the organization millions of dollars. This talk explores the use of machine learning both on and off the manufacturing line at PepsiCo and its subsidiary Frito-Lay.
