Description

When an X-ray is taken on a patient, especially in a triage situation, the time that it takes to analyze and interpret the image is a crucial, where minutes and hours matter. Radiologists often have to review hundreds of exams per day, resulting in delayed diagnosis of critical conditions such as a pneumothorax, or collapsed lung. This talk introduces the first FDA-cleared mobile device for x-ray triage and examines the implications for the future of AI-assisted healthcare.
